Mom, Bella & a Moment of Clarity Through the Fog of Alzheimer’s

My mother defined women’s lib before anyone knew the term. She kept working well into life because she needed to feel productive, and read incessantly because she loved books. She cherished every grandchild and knew birthdays, ball games and boyfriends.

Then Alzheimer’s came calling.

I wrote this guest post in her honor, and because it’s so clear that more must be done to defeat this vicious disease.
